| How to Address an Medic? William Thompson is a major in the army. He is medic. -- Nameless Surfer of Few Words
Dear NSoFW: Simply address him as a major in the United States Army. I show all the forms for an Army major on page 208. Medics do not have an official unique form of address. Write his name as: Major William Thompson If he is in the Army Medical Corps, with the MC for Medical Corps (post-nominal abbreviation) his name would be: Major William Thompson, MC, USA But if you are not certain if he's in the MC ... use (Rank) + (Name). -- Robert Hickey
