Ms. Eyring is Director of The Protocol School of Washington®. Ms. Naim is The Protocol School of Washington's liaison at the Protocol Department Dubai. Ms. Brown and Mr. Hajjaj are training facilitators of the Protocol School.

Mr. Al Sayari was a participant in the course. Mr. Al Zaabi is Assistant Director General of Protocol Department, Dubai. The Protocol Department, Dubai, is the official department responsible for managing and organizing local and international protocols for His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai as well as members of the Ruling Family, VIPs and official visitors.
Protocol Trainings, Port of Spain, Trinidad
Robert Hickey was on the The Protocol School of Washington's team presenting its Protocol Officer Training Course (POTC) at The Hyatt Regency, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, under the patronage of the Trinidad and Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute. This was the second training in Port of Spain by the PSOW at the invitation of the Institute's director, Dr. Patricia Butcher. The training drew participants from the government, armed services, and Trinidad & Tobago's corporate sector.

International Protocol Manager Training
Dubai & Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Robert Hickey was on the The Protocol School of Washington's team presenting the International Protocol Manager Training at The Address Hotel, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, January 17-20, 2011. This was one of three trainings that year in the United Arab Emirates. Every participant received a copy of his book, Honor & Respect, for their reference. In addition to teaching names, titles, and forms of address, he taught sessions on flag protocol and official gifts. The trainings were presented under the patronage of the Protocol Department of His Highness, The Ruler of Dubai. Attending the four-day trainings were students from royal courts, governments, corporations, and the armed services of: Abu Dhabi & Dubai, UAE; Bahrain; Bulgaria; Oman; Qatar; and the U.S.A.

Protocol & Diplomacy International-Protocol Officers Association "7th Annual Education Conference"
Robert Hickey was a guest speaker at the Protocol & Diplomacy International-Protocol Officers Association 7th Annual Education Conference in Kansas City, Missouri in August 2008. He spoke on to the entire conference on five traditions in titles and forms of address most often encountered by protocol officers. Each conference participant received a copy of his book for their reference.
The book was also the association's gift to other conference presenters including Ambassador Nancy Brinker, Chief of Protocol of the United States; Ms. Cari Guittard, Executive Director, Business for Diplomatic Action; Ms. Mary Eisenhower, President and Chief Executive Officer, People to People International; Ms. Luby Ismail, Founder and President, Connecting Cultures, Inc.
